Anna Conley

Board Member

Anna and her husband, Chris, moved to Rabun County in 2022 from Atlanta. They have no children, but do have a fur baby, Charlie, who has totally changed their lives. Anna earned a degree in Business Education from Kennesaw State University, and worked for many years as an Executive Assistant/Special Events Coordinator at a large church in Marietta, GA. Currently, Anna serves as a Practice Manager for an internal medicine practice in Atlanta. She is also an active member of Clayton Baptist Church. “While attending a worship service at my former church in Atlanta, a local Christian foster care support organization made a presentation about the foster care system, and what a difference they had made in the lives of children in the foster care system. I felt the Lord speaking to my heart but had no idea how to be involved. Little did I know the Lord was planting a seed in my heart for when we made the move to beautiful Rabun County. One Sunday morning Elizabeth Adams spoke about Place of Hope and the need for volunteers, and I thought, Lord this is what You were preparing me for. Immediately following the service, I sought out Elizabeth and set up an appointment to visit Place of Hope and find out how I could get involved. Long story short, Elizabeth put me to work on the Picnic for a Purpose. I am so very thankful I obeyed the Lord’s prompting because volunteering with Place of Hope has changed my life. Anna became a member of the Board in June 2025 and considers it a joy and a blessing to serve along with other members of our community to help improve the lives of children within the foster care system.
